Fetch Instructions

CREATING NEW SHORTCUT

Once you’ve opened Fetch, go to “Shortcuts” and then choose “New Shortcut.”
(or just CTRL-T on your keyboard once you’re in Fetch)
(see red arrow in image below)

Enter the following information in the appropriate field:
NAME: name your shortcut NOTE: YOU CAN NAME THIS ANYTHING YOU’D LIKE!
HOSTNAME: hollywood56.sftp.wpengine.com
USERNAME: hollywood56-gruver
CONNECT USING: SFTP
PWD: Cleopatrahud63
PORT: 2222
(note red arrows in image below)

When you then click on “Shortcuts” in Fetch you should see the name of your new shortcut. (I chose “WP-Engine” as an example)
(note red arrow in image below)

Clicking on the shortcut folder and Fetch should make an SFTP connection to your site on WP-Engine.
(you should see image below)

HOW TO DISABLE “NEW CONNECTION” WINDOW FROM LAUNCHING AT STARTUP

Once you’ve launched Fetch, go to preferences.
(see image below)

On the “General” tab, make sure that “Show New Connection dialog at startup is NOT checked.
(see image below)

Once the box is unchecked, quit Fetch, then relaunch and you should no longer see “New Connection” window at launch!
